Rhonda has worked in university admissions and counseling for nearly 30 years. Her career started at The George Washington University, in Washington, DC, her alma mater, where she recruited students and served on the admissions committee for thirteen years. Moving to the 'other side of the desk', Rhonda worked as a counselor in Los Angeles private schools before moving to Shanghai in 2014. In Shanghai, Rhonda created the University & Career Counseling program for YK Pao School's inaugural class of 2017. For many years, Rhonda had a 'side job' as an Admissions Evaluator for UCLA, reading both domestic, international, and medical school applications. She also read admissions files for Loyola University University in Los Angeles. With a guiding philosophy of 'helping students find the match.' Rhonda encourages students to be self-reflective with their college search and be aware of the myriad opportunities and support services on university campuses to ensure a smooth transition to higher education.
