Jon Larkin, M.Ed., BCBA
(Founder and Director)
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Jon attended Boston College and the University of Massachusetts for undergraduate and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master's in Education from University of Massachusetts as well as received postgraduate degrees in Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Education. He is also currently studying a Psychology Master’s program.
Besides being a Massachusetts Licensed Allied Health Professional and Clinical Behavior and Autism Therapist, he has held positions Director of Student Support K-12 at an IB School in Europe, Head of Learning Enhancement at VSA in Hong Kong, Learning Specialist, and “Master Teacher” and Learning/Behavior Specialist at ISF. Starting at Boston Public Schools, he has over 15 years in international schools in Spain, Mexico, Hong Kong, and USA, both as a teacher and an educational leader, and has gained a deep understanding of the IB and Common Core. He has also received the dignified title of “Master Teacher” at a top IB School in Hong Kong due to consistently exhibiting exceptional knowledge and skills in the classroom and cultivating excellent student achievement.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (Massachusetts) as well as a Certified Cognitive Behavior Therapist from Massachusetts General Hospital, and licensed in Special Education, he is an expert in ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Trained and experienced in multiple evidence-based interventions, including Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading, PEERS Social Skills Intervention, and various STEM programs, Jon has the keen ability to meet children where they are, elevate their skills, and unlock their full potential.
Aside from licensure by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in General Education, Special Education, English Language Learners, and Sheltered English Immersion, he is also a Hong Kong Registered Teacher. Furthermore, he is a Google Certified Educator and EdTech Teacher Leader.
